Description
Just fooling around with some ideas.A concept painting that shows some high speed - low altitude - craft, racing over a desert landscape.
Tried a little different shading style for this (a bit Syd Mead ish if I dare say...).
The image took about 11-12 hours.
Photoshop CS - Wacom. Original res 5250x2500

crit:
As big as the aircraft is in the frame it would have been nice to see you flesh out the surface a bit more. decals, dirt, smoke streams -less uniform and linear ... etc.
The shadow could use more refinement as well which would add to the weight of the aircraft - would the shadow be uniform and as crisp as it is or would you have edges blurred and some darker and lighter areas in the shadow ...
A sense of depth of field would have been nice (middleground craft in focus, everything else out of focus) - a very subtle touch would be all you need. Tasty.
These are just thoughts and responses. great work. 8+

It's awesome though
And Seijuro, do you mean the drop shadow thing? he picked that blue color that is seen next to images, pasted his work into new document that was filled with that blue color, and drop shadowed his image. Drop Shadow and blue color are included to his final image that is uploaded to server. You probably didn't understand though. Sorry Antifan if I revealed your secret
